Midori

Overview

In 2020, the famous Japanese-born American violinist and educator Midori chose to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth by recording his Violin concerto and his two Romances for violin and orchestra with Festival Strings Lucerne Orchestra. The Covid-19 pandemic may have temporarily prevented this great collaboration from being presented in a concert, but today the internationally acclaimed soloist is able to present live her fascinating reading to international audiences, accompanied by an orchestral ensemble of high standards, led by its artistic director Daniel Dodds.
